vBadvanced Links Directory v4.0.0 Beta 2 for vBulletin v4.0 has been released and is now available in the Members' Area here for current license holders. This is a BETA release, so if you are not fully comfortable with backing up and restoring your forums database, we recommend waiting until vBadvanced Links Directory 4.0.0 RC1 is released before you upgrade.

v4.0.0 Beta 2 corrects all currently known issues from Beta 1, as well as some significant style changes to mesh better with vBulletin 4.

Important Notes:

• This is beta software! Before upgrading, be sure to backup your database so you can revert to your backup if there are problems.
• It is *highly* recommended that you upgrade a test site using a recent backup of the database for your live site before upgrading your live site.

To upgrade to vBadvanced Links Directory v4.0, first upgrade your vBulletin forums to the latest release of vBulletin 4.0. Once you've upgraded vBulletin, the Links Directory upgrade instructions are the same as usual and may be found in the readme

Yesterday a potential cross-site-scripting (XSS) exploit was reported that affects vBadvanced CMPS v3.0+ and v4.0 Beta. vBadvanced CMPS v3.2.2 (vB 3.6 - 3.8) and v4.0.0 RC1 (vB 4.0+) have been released to correct this potential threat and are now available in the Members' Area here. It is highly recommended that anyone running vBadvanced CMPS v3.0+ upgrade to the appropriate version as soon as possible. The steps to upgrade are the same as usual and full upgrade instructions may be found in the readme.html file that comes with the download package.

We are also happy to announce the release of vBa CMPS v4.0.0 RC1. This new release takes v4.0 out of it's beta stages and brings the product to a level of stability where it may be run on live web sites. There will likely be some minor bugs still, but all known bugs & issues have been corrected. In addition to bug fixes, new settings when adding/editing pages have been added to allow you to display a link to the page in your navbar tabs, along with a setting to allow you to display that pages child pages below in a sub-menu.

vBa Dynamics v2.0 Beta 1 For vB4 Released!
vBadvanced Dynamics v2.0.0 Beta 1 for vBulletin v4.0 has been released and is now available in the Members' Area here for current license holders. This is a BETA release, so if you are not fully comfortable with backing up and restoring your forums database, we recommend waiting until vBadvanced Dynamics 2.0.0 RC1 is released before you upgrade. vBa CMPS & Links Directory v4.0.0 "Gold" Released!
vBadvanced is happy to announce the releases of vBa CMPS v4.0.0 "Gold" and vBa Links Directory v4.0.0 "Gold" for vBulletin v4.0. With both products having been in the Beta and RC stages for the last couple of months, we're confident that any remaining undiscovered bugs should be minimal and minor enough to warrant the "Gold" release of each product.
Current license holders will find the latest versions available for download in the Members' Area here, and new customers may purchase/download from the 'Products' link at the top of any page.

vBadvanced Links Directory v3.3.0 (for vB3) and v4.1.0 (for vB4) have been released and are now available in the Members' Area here for current license holders or new purchases. These latest releases include the following new features:

• Thumbnail image uploads are now possible. A new usergroup permission setting called 'Can Upload Website Images' has been added to allow control over who can upload an image with their links. A new setting group called 'Website Image Uploading Options' has also been added with settings to control the type, dimensions, and filesize of uploads. An uploaded image will be displayed on the 'Show Link Details' page, and there is a setting to enable website images when browsing categories as well.
• The 'Enable thumbshots.org Web Site Thumbnails' settings (under Browselinks Options and Showlink Options) have a new option for 'Yes, only if there is no Website Image' so that the thumbshots.org thumbnail can be hidden when an image has been uploaded.
• Mass importing a list of URLs is now possible. Another new usergroup setting called 'Can Mass Import Links' has been added to control who can mass import links. The new feature is only accessible via the 'Moderation' link in the vBa Links user-end, so the user must also be an admin or vBa Links moderator to use this feature.
• A new setting called "Strip 'http://' From Outbound URL's" has been added to help prevent issues with servers that have strict security settings and do not allow the query string in a URL to contain 'http://'.
• All currently known bugs have been corrected. (bugs from 3.2.0, bugs from 4.0.0)

vBadvanced Dynamics v2.0.1 (for vB4) has been released and is now avaiable in the Members' Area here. This new version is a maintenance release to correct several bugs and other issues including:

• Several IE7 display issues.
• Issues with entry ratings not appearing and notifications not being sent back properly after rating an entry.
• Problems with not being able to select replies using the inline moderation system if the 'postbit_legacy' template is used instead of the 'postbit' template.
• Fixed an issue where rebuilding attachment thumbnails could disable thumbnails if you store attachments in the database instead of the file system.
• Fixed the broken "last entry" image link in the categorybits.
